The first half of the season started off with the highest of highs as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football to open the season at the New Arrowhead Stadium. Now, the first half ended on the lowest of lows, with the Chiefs losing in overtime in a game where the Oakland Raiders tried their hardest to give the Chiefs the easy win.

Kansas City Chiefs Final 53: 1st Draft
So before the Kansas City Chiefs make their final cuts on Saturday, I’ve decided to bring you the first of a few versions of the Chiefs final 53 man roster. Of course, there will likely be some waiver pickups before it’s all said and done, but these are the guys I want wearing the Red and Gold…for now. The order in which the players appear will be where I want them on the depth chart.

Now…they’re playing in the most worthless football game besides the Pro Bowl, the fourth preseason game. Starters usually don’t last past a handful of series. Effort is lacking as most players are trying not to get hurt and the third and fourth stringers make terrible decisions that are the outcome of trying to make the roster by making a big play.
