It seems, no matter how bad the Kansas City Chiefs played the season before, no matter where the finished in the standings and no matter how long Matt Cassel continues to hang onto the ball… The new season always brings uninhibited new hope.

They have an easy schedule, if you take out the road game versus the Chargers and a home game versus the Titans weeks 7-17 look like an easy 9 wins. However, you need to be a talented team to win those 9 games, and the Chiefs clearly aren't.
The fact that the rest of the AFC West took a step back allows me to be hopeful… Pre-season game 3 has given me more hope, but overall I think the Chiefs can compete, not because they are great, but because the rest of the AFC West is not as good as in 2009.
Yea i think the Chiefs schedule this year will play out to be one of the weakest in the NFL. 9 Wins all the way!!

Win 2 – Broncos
Wins – Browns, Bills, Rams
