Philip Rivers v. Patriots 2011

Chiefs @ Chargers Preview: The Bolt Perspective

The Bolts are coming into this game after a disappointing loss to the New England Patriots. We tripped over our own feet the whole game and just looked like a HOT MESS! We need to get focused and ready to kick a team while they are down.

The Chiefs have more talent on the IR than they have on the active roster. The team did not look prepared to enter the season and they really are in the “Suck for Luck” sweepstakes. This game SHOULD be a murdering, but the Bolts have not lived up to expectations on many occasions.

This is still an AFC West battle and you guys do know our tendencies better than other teams in this league. The Bolts will need to be prepared and focused to fight a dog that is backed up into a corner.

Philip Rivers has been a little shaky in his first 2 games of the season. He has thrown for a ton of yards, but he has also throw 4 interceptions on the early season. Antonio Gates is coming off a game in which he got BLANKED and will look to step it up and stop all the chatter about OLD AGE.

The Chargers offense is one of the best in the league and they will score points. It will be up to the Kansas City offense to try and keep up. With Jamaal Charles on the IR and Matt Cassel playing awful, I don’t see the Chiefs keeping up on the scoreboard. This should be a MURDERING!

  • Epadaon, Thanks for the guest post!

It is nice to see an opponent guest blogger talk about the game without pulling punches.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Chiefs have a chance either!
