Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos

AFC West Preview Week 1

Denver Broncos

You’re welcome, city of Jacksonville. Not only do you get to see an NFL game in the comfort of your own home, you don’t have to worry about a television blackout for your home opener, because Tim Tebow is coming home with the Denver Broncos to face the Jaguars in Week One!

So congrats to all nine fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars fans for selling out your stadium for your home opener!

Starting Offensive Tackle Ryan Harris is out two weeks with a sprained ankle. Ryan Clady is not 100%. The Broncos are a beat up football team and it’s not even Week Two. Kyle Orton had a great preseason, and Broncos fans are hoping he can stay healthy.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are on National Television on Monday Night Football and ready to show off the newly renovated Arrowhead Stadium! Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe and Matt Cassel need to come out swinging because the San Diego Chargers want to ruin the party.

It’s going to be intriguing to see what Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel bring to the table this season. Can Weis help Cassel fit in his complex system, and for Chiefs’ fans sake earn that big contract Matt received last year?

San Diego Chargers

Is this the year, Chargers fans? Do you finally go to a Super Bowl or get knocked out of the Divisional playoffs again? Phillip Rivers is an elite quarterback, but is the rest if the supporting cast good enough? How does Norv Turner still have a head coaching job? Shawn Merriman did not practice today same with backup quarterback Billy Volek, meaning that the Chargers only have one quarterback on their Depth chart.

Oakland Raiders

Jason Campbell has a security blanket in Zach Miller that will help with the Raiders running game. Running back Michael Bush was in uniform and participating in practice yesterday. Tom Cable isn’t talking about Bush’s injury; I’m looking forward watching the Raiders Defense go against Vince Young and Chris Johnson.
