NFL Parlay Week 6: Jaguars, Packers, Panthers

I cannot believe I am saying this: I am sad I cannot pick the Chiefs in my NFL parlay in week 6. In 5 weeks, I have hit on the Chiefs vs. the spread in every week except week 2 against the Detroit Lions… Didn’t see that blow-out coming!

Oh well, on to week 6…

My one rule – I MUST use the Chiefs in the NFL parlay… This rule is broken this week, due to the Chiefs bye week…

As always, I am using the current line from

Up $20 after a nice win in week 4, but dropping a close one in week 5.

Damn’ Saints, only beat the Panthers by a field goal instead of a touchdown.

Jaguars @ Steelers (-12)

12 is a big number and no matter the state of the Jacksonville Jaguars, they always seem to show up against the top teams in the NFL. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not picking the Jags to upset the Pittsburgh Steelers… 7 points, maybe 10, but not 12.

Pick: Jaguars +12

Rams @ Packers (-14)

Ok, I told you last week, and I’m sticking to it in week 6… Until they don’t do it, I am taking the Green Bay Packers to cover the spread. 14 is  a HUGE number, but I cannot believe how much the St. Louis Rams have digressed in 2011.

Pick: Packers -14

Panthers @ Falcons (-4 1/2)

The offense of the Atlanta Falcons makes me sick… I never know what they’re going to do. In week 5 the Carolina Panthers played the New Orleans Saints to a 3 point loss, a team much better than the Falcons.

Cam Newton seems to have “it,” and I will take “it!”

Pick: Panthers +4 1/2
