BETTING NFL WEEK 11

Betting NFL week 11 is going to be yet another tricky week with some key injuries and more hard lines. This week the Texans, Saints, Colts and Steelers are on the final week of byes for the NFL. Every Team besides the Colts leads their division and is looking good to make the playoffs this year. A huge injury for the Texans happened last week, Matt Schaub will be out for the rest of the season, leaving Matt Leinhart to finish out the season. Lucky for Leinhart they are 2 games up on the Titans and still have Carolina, Jaguars and Colts left on their schedule. Look for the Texans to finish with 10 wins this season. Another quarterback change is in Kansas City, Last week Matt Cassel hurt his hand and will undergo surgery missing the rest of the season. Cassel will be replaced by Tyler Palko who has only 13 snaps in the NFL. Chiefs play the Patriots and are getting 14.5 points, and personally don’t like taking point spreads this big but with the amount of injuries on the Chiefs, Patriots should crush the Chiefs this week.

Quarterback injuries are one thing that can affect Betting NFL total points in the game. Michael Vick has 2 broken ribs and will probably play a little more conservative, look for Lesean McCoy to have a big game. Should keep the total score below it’s projected total at 47, Not to mention the Giants are not a high scoring team either averaging 24.2 points a game. The line has moved from Giants -3.5 to -6. Another Quarter back banged up is Mathew Stafford, word is that he has a broken index finger that could affect his throwing, on the other side Cam Newton has been suffering a sore throwing shoulder. This game has a projected total of 47.5. A high number for me I think the Lions can hold Cam Newton to 2 TD. I like the Lions -6.5, this is a perfect bounce back game after getting embarrassed last week against the Bears. Yet another thing to consider while betting NFL games.

Game of the week for betting NFL in week 11 is Atlanta Falcons over the Tennessee Titans. The line is -6, After the Falcons loss to the Saints with that idiotic 4th and inches call on their own 30 in overtime.  Falcons played a good game and have been playing much better the last few weeks, Titans on the other hand have been struggling the entire season on both sides of the ball, and have only beaten one team over .500. Matt Ryan as a falcon is 23-6 in the Georgia Dome.  This is a really hard week for betting the NFL with multiple lines over 7 point spreads. Just remember it’s alright to take a week off betting the NFL. I am going to go a little crazy this week on my picks taking the Chargers but its time for them to get it together.

I have to laugh at Thursday nights game I had a prop bet that I won, it was completions for Tim Tebow- O/U 8.5  I took the over and won with 9 completions. Prop bets sometimes are a good way to have fun when watching a game that has no interest to you. Every Sunday and Monday game has prop bets. Super Bowl has over 500 different prop bets, Vegas is a really fun place to watch football. Hope you all win some money this week betting NFL games!!!

  • Your point about the quarterback situations in the NFL being tough to be is so true.

I think Carson Palmer goes off this week so I’m a little Leary of the under in that game.

How often does the over/under push?

  • In my parlay, I went with your Chargers pick… Hope you’re right… I’ve been missing ONE every week!

  • @Parr both teams run the ball a lot clock should be moving fast, I am not sure vikings will score much. The O/U can’t push at 45.5 but it does always seem to be right around the total.

@travis being fans in the AFC west we have all seen what the Chargers do this time of the year, yes i know they been turning the ball over a lot but if they can keep the turnovers under 2 they will win this game.
