Betting the AFC West: Week 14 Parlay

We finally kicked the losing streak in week 13, grabbing a $32 profit in the small 2 team parlay. Down $48 on the season, now it’s time to start making some money!

Week 14 gives us three AFC West games… and an opportunity to get into the black in our parlay pocketbook.

Oakland Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars (-4)

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been hot of late, winning four of their last five games and lead the tough AFC South. The Jags are also 5-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last 5 games.

I like the Jaguars to win at home and cover the 4 point spread.

I am taking the Jaguars to win by 6 points

Pick: Jaguars giving 4 points

Denver Broncos @ Arizona Cardinals (+4)

The Arizona Cardinals are now on their 3rd string quarterback, rookie John Skelton (That’s him in the pic at the top if, like me, you have no f’in clue who he is…). The Cardinals are bad, and looking to become even worse. 0-4 ATS in their last four games, the Cardinals will make the streak 5.

I am taking the Broncos to win by 10

    Pick: Broncos giving 4 points

Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers (-7)

Matt Cassel has been ruled out against the San Diego Chargers this Sunday and Philip Rivers is the baddest QB this side of the Mississippi. Chargers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games, but I think the Kansas City Chiefs beat the spread with or without Matt Cassel.

I am sticking to my prediction in yesterday’s 5 Reasons: Chargers article and taking the Chargers to win the game by 4

Only 36% of bettors agree with me…

    Pick: Chiefs getting 9.5 points

    Parlay Recap

$20 bet wins $123.18, and gets us back in the black!

    Jaguars (-4), Broncos (-4), Chiefs (+9.5)

    Good luck!
