It is very awesome that the Kansas City Chiefs are AFC West champions and headed for the playoffs. It is great not having to worry about the outcome of this week’s game. It is more awesome for me to report that my Beantown Banana Slugs have won the 2010 CyberBlitz Fantasy Football Championship. It’s my second championship in four years. I was also proud that my hometown team, the Cincinnati Bengals, gave our Chiefs a gift by beating the Chargers. I never want the Chiefs to lose a game, but how cool would it be for the Raiders to be the first team to go 6-0 in their division and miss the playoffs? I’m a big fan of history and weird stats.
Most of you probably aren’t playing this week, if you are then it has to be your championship game. My only advice is to watch the news to see how much playing your starters will be given this week. Many of the players that got you there might not be contributing much this weekend. As for the Chiefs, I don’t see huge numbers for any of them, especially once a lead is established. Stay with Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe if you got them. Week 17 is nearly the hardest week to project fantasy stats and I’ve never been a big fan of having the fantasy season end on week 17.
Good luck, happy playing and thanks for reading all season.
