Kansas City Chiefs v Oakland Raiders

Week 15: Glad I Missed that Debacle

Due to my recent college graduation and subsequent family vacation I was unable to watch much if any of that beat down our Kansas City Chiefs suffered Sunday afternoon.  Also, due to having a bye week in my fantasy league for the opening round of the playoffs it was actually a nice Sunday not to have to worry about football.  Since I am still on vacation I will have to leave this week’s entry short.

Hopefully Matt Cassel is back in the mix this week.  Many Chiefs fans have been calling for Brodie Croyle, I hope they see that he isn’t the answer at the future of the QB situation after watching him have no clue to what he was doing last week.  The offense should produce more than 67 yards this week against the Rams with Cassel back; however, we have learned that this team is absolutely horrible on the road.  At 6-7 the Rams are not an easy team to be facing right now.  The Chiefs could really use a W this week.  Fantasy wise, most of you should now be in your playoff weeks.  I wouldn’t start Cassel or Thomas Jones this week.  Start Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe.  Stay away from Ryan Succop and the Chiefs Defense/Special Teams.

Good luck this week and happy playing.

Week 15 projections for your Kansas City Chiefs:

Matt Cassel: 200 yards, 1 TD

Jamaal Charles: 85 yards, 1 TD, 3 catches 30 yards

Thomas Jones: 65 yards

Dwayne Bowe: 5 catches 65 yards, 1 TD

Tony Moeaki: 3 catches 35 yards

Ryan Succop: 2/2 XP 1/1 FG

Special Teams/Defense: 2 sacks, 1 INT, 24 points allowed

Week 15 Mailbag:

Dangle writes:

I need to choose two WR from: Lloyd, Colston, Austin or Steve Johnson.

Dangle: I’d go with Colston and Johnson.
