Last Sunday was awesome for the Kansas City Chiefs, damn good win over a team that is really solid at home. I really thought it would be a close game, but thanks to Bowe and Arrow (Dwayne Bowe and Matt Cassel) it was a blowout. Fantasy football wise Bowe is a top tier WR right now, I’d put him only behind Roddy White. This Sunday is “do or die time”, not really for the Chiefs, but for me.
If I win I’m in the playoffs, if I lose I need help from someone else. I could possibly end the season tied with the best record and most total points scored and miss the playoffs. Enough about my woes, the Chiefs could really use a win this week against Denver; it would be nice to get some revenge. A blowout win over the Broncos cold be the end of Josh “Spygate2” McDaniels days in Denver.
Fantasy wise keep Bowe in your lineup and ride him while he is hot. Jamaal Charles is getting into a great rhythm now, but don’t be surprised to see his carries get reduced once the Chiefs clinch a playoff spot; but keep starting him for now. I’d be weary of starting Thomas Jones this week. Of course every time I say that he performs better than Charles. Tony Moeaki should remain in your lineup as well now that he is back to 100%. He did get a reduced look last week, but still saw the endzone. Look for a better option than Ryan Succop and please don’t be tempted to start the Chiefs Defense/Special Teams. This defensive unit isn’t making much of a fantasy impact right now.
Good luck this week, I know I need it.
