Our Kansas City Chiefs got embarrassed, period. The good news is that if you had started Matt Cassel and Dwayne Bowe you at least got a huge fantasy boost last week. However, what I couldn’t believe was my fantasy game this past week versus ChiefsCommand editor Travis Pflanz. We both were the #1 and #3 highest scoring teams in the league leading up to week ten, both averaging about 140 points a game. Needless to say it looked to be a high scoring barn burner. Instead we both posted the two lowest scores of the week, nearly the year. I thought I had it won going into Monday night, before the clock hit zero I texted him a congratulatory message since he was up by less than a point and I saw no hope. Just then Santana Moss got one last short yardage garbage reception and miraculously I then got the win, by 0.66 points, wow. I couldn’t believe what happened! I only write about it since it was the only bright spot in a week were the Chiefs proved that they really aren’t that good. Also, if you can beat the editor of the blog you write for I guess it warrants some mentioning.
The Chiefs did prove they can be exposed and may not be that good. With a game this week against the Cardinals they have a chance to get back on track. The Cardinals have shown they decided on the wrong QB as the play from that position has been terrible. Larry Fitzgerald was once a fantasy stud, but with Derek Anderson at the helm he is barely a second tier WR. They have absolutely no run game to even speak of. This is a week for the Chiefs to stick to a run first and run heavy offense and then pass once the defense is tired. Overall I think it’ll be a good week for most of the usual fantasy starters for the Chiefs. Bye weeks are over so no one should have Cassel as their number one QB unless injuries have cost them badly. However, he may be worth a sleeper start this week. Start Bowe since he is the only real WR option on this team, especially if Tony Moeaki in inactive this week with his concussion. Watch Moeaki’s status this week; be sure to remove him from your line-up if he is ruled out. Please continue to start Jamaal Charles as he should have a big day Sunday. Thomas Jones is worthy of a start if you are thin at RB, but I’m worried he will continue to see his carries decrease. If the offense is clicking I think it’s a good Sunday to start Ryan Succop. I’m really worried about how poorly the Chiefs Defense/Special Teams played last week so I’m reluctant to suggest you to start them. The matchup looks intriguing, but so did last weeks.

I thought I had no hope going into Monday night, but was pissed about losing the way I did.
It appears my team is off to a great start for low score again this week.
